Portsmouth Celebright ® Permanent Lighting
What Is Celebright® Permanent Lighting?
If you have ever paid a crew to string Christmas lights across a Portsmouth home and then pay them again to pull them down, Celebright® Permanent Lighting is the alternative you have been looking for. It is an always-installed LED track that hugs the architectural lines of your house, stays put year-round, and is controlled from a smartphone app. The track is engineered to blend into fascia and soffit during the day; at night it lights up in any color or pattern you choose. One system covers Christmas, Halloween, July 4th, birthdays, game days, and simple everyday curb appeal — no ladders, no storage bins in the garage. Because Celebright uses commercial-grade components instead of consumer LED strips, it is built for a decade-plus of outdoor exposure.
How the Celebright® System Works
A Celebright system works by combining a permanently mounted LED channel with a smart controller and cloud-connected app. On a Portsmouth home, we route the LED track along architectural lines — eaves, fascia, gables, soffits — and conceal all supply wiring behind trim or through attic and soffit space. Power supplies are tucked into a dry, protected spot such as the garage or an exterior weatherproof enclosure. From there, low-voltage wiring feeds the track and a dedicated controller handles communication with the Celebright Cloud app. Because the installation is broken into logical zones, you can control the front of the house, the sides, the garage, and the back independently without ever changing the physical lighting.
Everything Included in Your Installation
A Portsmouth Celebright install covers the entire project from first conversation to final walkthrough. That means the on-site assessment, the custom design plan showing where every section of track will go, every LED track component needed for the layout, concealed wiring, the power supplies, and the controller — all included in the base price. Professional installation by our insured team is part of that bundle, as are WiFi integration, full system testing, and hands-on customer training so you are confident using the app before we leave. Standard holiday scenes (Christmas, Halloween, July 4th, and more) are loaded during setup, and Alexa or Google Home integration can be configured on request. Each install also includes a 10-year manufacturer warranty on Celebright hardware and a 3-year workmanship warranty from Meadow Lawn and Pest.
Smart Control with the Celebright Cloud App
Everything you do with your Portsmouth Celebright system runs through the free Celebright Cloud app on iOS or Android. Toggle the lights on or off, dim them, pick any color in the full color spectrum, or trigger a pre-loaded holiday scene in a tap. Save favorite color combinations for quick access, schedule lights to follow the sunset, and control each zone of the home independently for multi-color displays. Built-in animation effects — twinkles, fades, color-cycling — add motion, and optional voice control via Alexa or Google Home lets you run the system hands-free. Settings sync to the cloud, so swapping phones or recovering from a WiFi blip does not mean reprogramming your favorites.

10-Year Warranty and Ongoing Support
A Portsmouth Celebright installation is protected on two fronts. The first is the 10-year Celebright manufacturer warranty, which covers every piece of hardware in the system — LED track, power supplies, and controllers — against material and workmanship defects. The second is a 3-year installation warranty from Meadow Lawn and Pest, covering secure mounting, concealed wiring, and overall system function. During those coverage windows, qualifying repairs are free — parts and labor both. After the 3-year installation warranty expires, non-warranty service is available at $105 per hour, and the large majority of service calls take less than an hour. Hardware failures are unusual, and even when they happen they remain covered by the 10-year component warranty.

Will the Track Be Visible During the Day?
Daytime visibility is the first concern most Portsmouth homeowners raise, and it is a fair one. The Celebright track is intentionally small — roughly a one-inch low-profile channel — and it comes in trim-matched finishes (white, black, bronze, or custom paint). Properly installed along rooflines and fascia, it reads as part of the architecture rather than as added lighting hardware. Wiring is hidden inside soffits, attics, and trim channels, so there are no cables on display from the ground. Our installers deliberately position the track to maximize concealment without sacrificing nighttime light output, and we walk the whole exterior with you in daylight before sign-off to make sure it reads the way you want it to.

Year-Round Uses Beyond the Holidays
What starts as a Christmas-lighting purchase in Portsmouth often ends up being something customers use year-round. Celebright ships with presets for Christmas, Halloween, Independence Day, and other occasions — each one a single tap away — and beyond those scenes, the system quietly becomes everyday accent lighting. Many homeowners use it as warm-white “porch light” most evenings, switch to orange and purple for Halloween weekends, run pastels for birthdays, and light the house in team colors on game day. Because a typical install uses only around $5–$15 a month in electricity even with nightly operation, the cost of using it every night is effectively negligible.
Best Time to Schedule Your Installation
In Portsmouth, timing matters more than most homeowners realize. Spring — March through May — is the strongest window: temperatures are in the installation sweet spot, scheduling is open, and your system is ready for Memorial Day, July 4th, and everything that follows. Early fall — September and October — is the other high-priority block, because finishing by Halloween puts your system ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas with room to spare. November and early December are rush season; installs are still possible but scheduling is tight and a 15–25% premium may apply. Winter is weather-dependent and is not recommended if Christmas is the goal — book by mid-October to be safe.
What Is Not Included in This Service
A Portsmouth Celebright installation is a focused service, and a few things fall outside its scope. The program covers exterior architectural lighting — rooflines, soffits, and trim — only; it does not include interior lighting, under-cabinet lighting, or ground-level landscape lighting (path lights, spotlights, tree uplighting), which is a separate service. We only install Celebright components; we do not work with other brands, off-the-shelf LED strips, or customer-supplied materials. Electrical panel upgrades, new circuits, and new outlet installations are outside our scope and must be handled by a licensed electrician. Tree trimming, vegetation removal, and HOA approvals are the customer’s responsibility; we will provide documentation to support HOA submissions when needed.
How to Prepare Your Home for Permanent Lighting Installation
Getting a Portsmouth home ready for a Celebright installation is mostly a matter of clearing the way. Walk the perimeter and make sure there is safe, clear access to all rooflines, soffits, and fascia where track will be mounted. Confirm those surfaces are structurally sound — any rotted wood, loose trim, or damaged soffits should be repaired before installation day. Make sure there is a working outdoor outlet within a reasonable distance of the install area. Clear bicycles, grills, outdoor furniture, and holiday decorations away from the walls and walkways. Move vehicles out of driveways and out from under garage doors, secure pets indoors or in a protected area, and have your WiFi name and password ready so we can pair the system before we leave.
